Slide Fairness

Each section of the roll is assigned a number, with 15 potential numbers to land on. The resulting number from each spin is determined by a combination of three individual elements, which are fed into an algorithm:

• Client Seed:

  The client seed is a SHA-256 hash generated daily from a random 32 bytes. It is displayed to you the moment it is generated.

• Server Seed:

  The server seed is a SHA-256 hash generated daily from a random 32 bytes. You are shown the encrypted version (hash) while it is in use.

• Nonce:

  The nonce is based on the round ID. The first round ever played has a nonce of 1, and this number increases by 1 for each new round. The nonce ensures that even with the same public seed and server seed combination, each game's outcome will be different. This uniqueness is due to the incrementing nonce.

Since each roll, or outcome, is generated using cryptographically secure randomness, the probability of any particular outcome remains constant, even if you play 100,000,000 times. There is no pattern or method used to determine which number will hit next – it is purely random.

Today's server seed is currently in use and remains a secret, with only the encrypted seed (hash) visible to you. You can verify today's results once the day is over and the (unhashed) server seed has been revealed.
